Great Rocket Scientists; #1 Adrian Meade

Adrian Meade worked at the “Propellants, Explosives and Rocket Motors Establishment”, a UK Government Research Centre located at Westcott, Bucks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_Propulsion_Establishment The simplest description of Adrian’s work would be to describe him as a “mathematician”… but what a mathematician! Adrian worked on a wide range of projects, mostly related to liquid rocket engines and was involved in some major defence programmes as well as spacecraft propulsion for commercial and scientific spacecraft. In the 1980’s, PERME was privatised and became the Royal Ordnance Rocket Motors Division. The Company produced a highly-successful family of apogee and RCS engines under the designation “LEROS”
